ମଥାଭଉଁରୀ ଜାଲର ଘାଇରେ ବା ଅଗରେ ଯେଉଁ ଦଉଡ଼ାରେ ଗୋଡ଼ି, ମାଟି ବା ସୀମାଗୁଲି ମାଳପରି ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇ ଥାଏ —A string at the fringe of a casting net in which pebbles, earthen or leaden pellets are stringed together.
